What does Alpha mean?

Basically Alpha means we are still internally testing the site, testing the server, and testing the various scripts. Like the charts not to show the promos etc, while the on demand station can still access them. We are not even offically open to the public, although you can visit the site and browse our artists we do have and listen to their great music, we aren't offically open.

As we have our own server, we are also in the process of daily auto backups, and plugging security holes (if any) and building some of the tools for you, from premade scripts to ones we have made.

From Alpha we then move to Beta Testing. Beta testing is where we say we have tested the site to the best of our ability but we need more people to try and find errors as we can not test everything under every possible circumstance, ie; I don't have a Mac so does all the scripts work on the Mac OS, I don't know. So we open the site to the public. When something doesn't work we get to know about it quicker as many hands make lite work. (We hope.)

After a set trial period in beta testing we will then offically open the site to the general public and really start pushing visitors and listeners as well as scoping for more artists.
